The Fredericksburg VA Health Care Center is located on a 60-acre property bounded by U.S. Route 1, Interstate-95 and Hood Drive. The facility boasts 470,000 square feet spread over 4-stories with 2,600 surface parking spaces. The clinic will employ over 750 staff members offering a wide range of services to veterans including: primary care; mental health; supporting services such as a pharmacy, lab and diagnostic imaging; and such specialty care services as podiatry, audiology, cardiology, physical medicine, rehabilitation, dentistry and ambulatory surgery. Legacy Engineering was hired as the local expert in civil engineering design and consulting in Spotsylvania County.

Stafford County Nursing Senior Living Facility
Stafford County, VA
Principals at Legacy were contracted to provide Geotechnical Subsurface Exploration and Engineering Analysis pre-development for a $30 million, four-story building with below grade parking, over fifteen segmental block retaining walls, and related earthwork.
In addition, Testing and Inspection Services were provided to include observation of subgrades and foundations, reinforcing and structural steel inspections, installation of utilities, observation and testing of structural fill for the buildings and parking lots, masonry inspections, and testing of concrete for the foundations and slab-on-grade.

Stafford County Animal Shelter
Stafford County, VA
Provided construction materials testing and inspection services for a 17,400 square foot animal shelter and associated road improvements to associated road improvements to Frosty Lane off of Wyche Road in Stafford County, Virginia. Services provided included concrete testing, soils testing, and utility backfill.
